Railroad Crossing Sign Through the Seasons
Stop or go.
Where does the wind come from and where does it go?
The seasons pass, memories collected, then you stop and think, where did time go?
Stop.
In this moment all is silent, all is still.
Windswept dandelion puffs carelessly sway and the flowers bloom from the brightness of the day.
Stand in a voiceless wonder and gaze, take it all in and feel the suns rays.
The tall grass tickles your fingertips and it makes you laugh, forgetting about the worries that won’t always last.
The leaves begin to fall on the ground, the earth’s blanket of red, yellow and brown.
Then you look up and the glistening snow gently comes down, like falling stars not making a sound. Winter has come and a new year has begun.
Go.
