The Journey of a Leaf

If you listen, you can hear the leaves rattling softly in the wind.
Snap! One leaf drifts off, finally free.

Where to go…
Perhaps it will sink into the icy waters.
Beautifully encased, but immobile.

Or perhaps it will remain free
Floating high and low,
Guided by the wind.
